Trying to be better about making myself submit my art LETS DO THIS LETS KILL A MANSketch-turned-quick-speedpaint of a werewolf OC of mine. I can never resist the opportunity to draw a snarly mouth I'm aware it's cliche as hell but if you think that can stop me you are wrong.
While I was drawing it I noticed I have an older piece in my gallery of a werewolf in a similar pose and it struck me how much better the face looks now in terms of depth/shape. It's good to realize you're improving... I should try one of those redraw memes sometime.
Will probably get moved to my scraps in a bit.

I like how you mixed a sketchy/traditional style here, though it was done with digital tools!

GAH I love this so much. Especially the grainy texture on the colors. Did you put a texture on there, or was it part of the brush you used?

I did most of the shading with some custom pastel brushes I used which has the bigger, toothier grain (such as the blue highlights on the neck/face) but then I also went back and put on a low-opacity noise filter at the end, which is the smaller grain

I love this!!<3 especially the highlights.
Although i am seeing something, the perspective of the inside of the upper jaw doesnt seem to match up with the direction of the nose! And seeing as you can view the underside of the lower jaw, it seems as though its the nose thats tilted to the left a little too far. -nod- but that is a really tricky angle, and i didnt even notice it at first LOL!
