Look what I have here :'DI adopted him from Insol few days ago
Named him Rai.
It's kind of inner joke between meaning of this name in russian(paradise/heavens) and his abilities that more related to dark things and shadow. Makes sense in my world.
I wanted to draw him so much, so I just had to make at least chibi with simple shading. It should have transparent background but I like how this grey fit with his colors~
I think he is my first animal OC who has a "hair", wow. He also has fancy scarf.
There is still much work with his story/abilities/reference sheet but I'm glad that he has own artwork now~

yes, small canvases are underrated :'D
I can use really big canvas sizes (computer resourses allow it) but I find more comfortable to work on middle and small sized ones.
And I don't really have any solid arguments about it, I'm just pretty happy with results maybe? :'D
Well, if you plan to use your picture as really BIG HQ print then yes, big canvas needed I guess.
