i want a frog, me and my brother used to collect tadpoles and let them go in our big garden when they grew into frogs. tadpoles remind me of my childhood :~(

Ooooo froggy! Frogs are so adorable...I can't belive they're becoming mutated and sad and hard to find because of all the chemical dumping in a lot of places. Or rather I don't want to believe it.

How utterly gorgy!
When I was a kid there was always a lot of frogs around here. Now there's none*. That's bad cos they say frogs are like envoironmental barometers.
*apart from the dreaded cane toad (thanks Hawaii!)!

oh man, frogs like that are the bestest ever! friends of my family had this creek running through their property and they also had an outdoor patio type place, and there were all these boxes of magazines in the patio and for some reason these tiny frogs loved the boxes and the furniture in there. so every summer we would spend some nights finding all these tiny frogs like this one and putting them into jars so as to set them free in the pond down the street.
frogs are cool. and i love the macro shot. not least cos of the memories it stirs up, but tis quite nice.
