          I watched the blood drip down the knife wound on my side. I’d never admit to this man that he’s doing me a favor rather than a criminal act. I’ve seen his photo on the news several times; darkish brown hair with a tint of red, that unmistakable curl, those deep red eyes that show only pure enjoyment as he watches the person shiver and shake before he kills them, and those sweet looking lips that turn into a deadly smirk. His voice is so smooth, deep thick Italian accent; it’s very attractive like the said man.

          “Bella, you don’t have a clue who you’re messing with,” ooh that accent with that voice sent shivers down my spine, the good shivers. I knew exactly who he was although I didn’t mean to run into him, but I’m grateful he’s killing me. I don’t have to do the act myself.

          I kept a straight face and stayed still. What else should I do? Beg him to kill me? No, he might freak out and stop. Fight him? I don’t have the strength for that. Laugh? Maybe, it was one hell of a chance running into him after all that’s happened today. I got fired for not sleeping with my boss, my boyfriend left me for a girl he’s been sleeping with and got pregnant, my parents died in a horrible accident, and my cat was ran over. I’m at my wits end; yet here is my savior with a knife in my gut. What a sweet man he is for doing this even if he doesn’t know how happy I am to die. Suddenly he pulls the knife out.

          “Why aren’t you screaming or yelling for help?” his eyes narrow. Crap, time to lie and hope he believes it.

          “What’s the point? No one will hear me or come save me from the likes of Luciano Vargas,” I hope he’s ego will allow him to believe that. He raised an eyebrow.

          “What a smart bella, but you’re lying,” he glared. Shit. “I hate when I’m lied to.”

          “Sorry,” it’s all I could say.

          “Tell the truth,” he slammed the knife deeper into my side. Yes, that’s it. I’ll be able to bleed to death. I lean into him and smile.

          “Thank you, for killing me,” I cough up blood and his eyes widen, “I didn’t want to live anymore but you saved me from doing the job myself.” Luciano pulled hid knife out and sat down holding my body. I could feel him shaking. Why was he so upset?

          “Bella, I won’t let you die,” Luciano picked me up, but I blacked out seeing tears in his eyes.
