I might do a painted version of this someday; who knows? I rather like it as-is, though, in the meantime. It gives me over-grandiose ideas of doing a series of angels. XD; I've also been trying lately to draw more action-oriented poses than has been my wont, and this is the inevitable result: wings go pretty nicely with just about anything, in my book, and I'm often too lazy to draw clothing. So, angels. ^____^I'm hoping this doesn't get flagged for mature content... there's nothing showing, and it's not 'suggestive' in nature, so. >.>

Oh man, I am SUCH a fan of St. Michael the Archangel, and your art is BEAUTIFUL, so of course the logical combination of these is my sudden desire to beg you to paint this. XD;;;

This is utterly beautiful. I think that a series of angels would be sublime. I love the strength that radiates both from his face and the more muscular set of his body. You have summed up everything an Archangel should be; bold, brave and valiant. I would be suprised if this was considered "mature" content, it is anything but suggestive which as far as angels go would be the wrong direction, I think. Archangels are warriors in my mind and you have captured that warrior spirit perfectly.

This is a rather good sketch -- you manage to render him nude not naked, so it's a fairly respectful rendering as well.

This is so beautiful! I LOVE it! You should do a series of angels! I would love to see it! But if not at least you did Michael (he happens to be my favorite ^^) I really like the pose and the way you positioned his legs. Came out really nice!
For some reason his face reminds me of Dark Schnieder (The Bastard) lol I don't know why..

Say Elandis, I don't suppose there's any chance you'd make a male-face tutorial? You have really nice proportions, and features (omg, the eyes you draw~), and it would be superb to learn how you construct them and think of them in 3D (you clearly don't just draw memorised features -- there's actual understanding in there).

Overall, a really great sketch.
There's only one thing that bothers me... no matter how many times I look at him , his left eye(the one on the right of the picture) keeps playing tricks on me. One moment it looks correct, the next it seems to be larger and almost cat-like, giving an almost wall-eyed effect. It's probably something about the line width or maybe I'm just weird.
If you did a colored version I know that would clear it up.

I have the same problem with trying new poses... I like the body too much to put clothes on them, so I throw on some wings and voila!
