Description
Name: Agent “Stone”; Daniel Grimm
Vehicle: Outlaw, police car
Drive: Justice
Bio:
Mr. Grimm’s wish to travel to the past and save his father led to a time paradox. Having unintentionally shifted the cause of his father’s death, Grimm twisted his own history. This resulted in a new Daniel Grimm, one with all the same rage the previous one. But this Grimm was now on the other side of the law, with his sights set not on redemption but revenge. Grimm now seeks Calypso again, for the first time, with a different wish and a different view of the man.
Intro:
"The memory of some scumbag trying to jack my dad's car and getting him killed keeps looping in my head. I'm sick of thugs playing games with people's lives. And this ‘Calypso’ is just another thug."
Note from Calypso Industries:
“Mr. Grimm wants to play hero. Let’s indulge him. The hypocrisy’s most amusing.”
Interlude:
Stone was appalled at the freakshow of monsters he fought against. It was too perfect. This tournament would draw out the worst criminals the world had to offer, and he would put them down on his way to Calypso. Then he’d use Calypso’s wish to clean up the rest of the world, before putting a bullet between Calypso’s eyes. Through enough sleuthing, Stone knew of Calypso’s secret criminal empire. The secret death-tournament alone was enough to warrant a life-sentence. And the fact that Calypso was arrogant enough to allow Stone to compete, for the sake of violent entertainment and “cannon fodder”, would prove his undoing.
Ending:
As Stone stepped into Calypso’s office, the tournament organizer began listing off names and descriptions. A girl traumatized by a murderer that hunted her for years. A preacher slandered and detained for trying to warn others of a conspiracy. A prisoner of war seeking a way home. A woman caught in crossfire because she was desperate to find her sister. A blue-collar worker at the end of his rope. A boy whose father was murdered. That last one especially shook Stone. These weren’t thugs, they were all broken victims of circumstance. Victims of his warpath. Hopeless corpses on the side of the road. Calypso asked a stuttering Agent Stone if he still wanted to wish the world free of all criminals. “Well? Will you take up your role as The Reaper, Mr. Grimm?” Calypso pointed a handheld mirror to Stone, reflecting an image of the same man who got his father killed. “Or will you ruin everything, like you did last time?” As Calypso turned the mirror over and over, the image oscillated between his own face and his tormentor’s. Their features were the same. They were the same. The revelation broke Daniel Grimm. Without a word, Calypso handed the shell-shocked agent a black card. It read “Blackfield Asylum,” followed by an address. Daniel felt like this was the only choice that made sense. So the former agent checked himself into the asylum, where he would spend the rest of his days berating himself for his foolishness.

Alright, I can’t take credit for this idea. Once again, shoutout to a random YouTube commenter whose name I don’t remember. The idea that a time paradox would turn Mr. Grimm into Agent Stone was too good to pass up on. Granted, his name’s not Stone, but I figured it’s a codename he got cus he’s as cold and tough as stone. I tried to draw Grimm’s features with an outfit like Stone’s and shades like Axel’s cus uh, spoilers, Axel’s not in this. Sort of. Sorry.
