Description Well... for something I thought was going to turn out crap turned out like this. I... don't know what to say about it expect for I love it! Very happy with how this turned out for two hours work it better, I seem to be getting better at this, it has no background but I think it would of distracted me from making this look good.

WOW!!! This is a classical example of the pokemon Charmelion, who I personally think is totally BADASS!!! The fire taking up the majority of the page gives a great effect, and the way Skaterblog drew the shadow and shades of colour on it is overwelming... in a good way! If I had any problems, I think that the background could be a bit more exiting than black, but that might have been done for a minimilistic effect. But overall it is absolutly AMAZING!!! it looks like it could come aliv... wait... OH GOD!!!!! I'M ON FIRE!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well done!

Thanks! I hope the fire didn't burn too badly XD To be honest I didn't know what to do with this, I wanted to draw Charmelion and a Flamethrower, got the idea when thinking of my next chapter. I loved doing the flames, but this really shows what Photoshop can do and not me.

I was going to do a background, a simple one but I stuck with just a plain colour so not to take you attention away from the the flame and shading. Adding a background meant more shading.

You have really improved, this is the best piece of artwork you've done so far.
I really love the texture you used for the fire and the shading is great. The grey background adds some mysterious feeling to it, make you wonder who he/she is fighting. A very well done picture indeed, the body shape is excellent. For a drawing that took 2 hours it show how much detail and work you put into it, i look back at your previous drawing then at this one.. and it's a remarkable improvement! It seems you dazzle us with a new style every new picture.
I am super impressed, well done ^w^

Thank you. This idea just came to me when I was thinking about my story. I want to try a new style and making this fire will really help with that goal. It seems like my style doesn't stay in one place.

I was going to leave it with no lighting and shadowing, which would've been a bad idea and now I'm glad I did it. This has shown me a different way to do lighting and I'm very pleased.

Your welcome^w^ yes you should be proud of this drawing it is the best so far, and i'm looking forward to seeing more great artwork from you. And it's a good thing you decided to shade it, it made the drawing more effect and gave it depth.

More art work like this? Well I want to try some new things so that might happen. Shading this was fun actually, but I'm still trying to figure out how much shading is needed for drawings.

yeah your style changes constantly but change is good ^w^ and yeah, shading is needed depending on the lighting, what helps me it to put a yellow circle where the light is coming from X3

I want to see what I am able to do and if I can't do it, learn it, I'm not surprised I don't use one style. But shading is always going to be a pain XD

Nice piece of art, love the fire's texture and look. Also love how, love the expression on the charmanders face he really enjoys, shooting some flames.
