- Lillian Cheesy Pie, or "Lil' Cheese", is the first born daughter of Cheese Sandwich and Pinkie Pie.
Physically born as a male, Lillian knew early on she was meant to be girl. She never felt right when other ponies would refer to her as "Cheese Sandwich's son" or "Cheese Sandwich Jr.". Pinkie Pie and Cheese were of course, fully supportive of Lilly's feelings and with the help and support of Princess Twilight and the Ponyville Doctors; Lillian Cheesy Pie was able to go through a successful and complete transition and live her life as the mare she always knew she was meant to be.

- As Lillian grew up, she quickly followed after her mother when it came to baking. After Mr. and Mrs. Cake's retirement, their children [Pound and Pumpkin Cake] took over the shop. Lilly would spend every afternoon with them and developed a deep friendship with the twins; especially Pumpkin Cake.. She was like a sister to her and taught Lilly everything she knew about baking. Pumpkin Cake was the reason Lilly got her cutie mark so early; a cheese pie. She was trying to make a cheesecake, but accidentally used salt instead of sugar - in turn making a more savory pie. To her surprise, ponies ended up liking her accident and Pumpkin was the one who reassured her not to give up and that everypony loved her recipes.

- When it comes to the party side of the family, Lilly will be one of the first ponies out on the dance floor; but she doesnt consider herself a "party pony" like her parents. She likes to stick to the catering, banquet side of parties - but she still knows how to take a break and have fun when she's needed out there. She handles a lot of the catering responsibilities at Sugar Cube Corner.

- Out of all her siblings, Lilly gets long best with her baby sister, Mini. She and Chimi have a lot in common when it comes to personality, but Lilly formed an immediate bond with Mini when she rushed to her side during a squabble between Mini and a few "bully" colts. Mini didn't like being referred to as "Pinkie Pie Jr.", and feels like she can't just be herself when she's always being compared to her mother and Lilly understood that completely. After Mini confided her feelings to her big sister, the two of them became almost inseperable whenever they're together.

- One of Lillian's best friends is Apple Jam, or "AJ" for short. He works part time at Sweet Apple Acres and the rest of the time he's traveling between the farm and his mothers' old residence delivering produce. The two of them became friends early on, and have always been there for one another. AJ was the first to acknowledge Lilly's feelings about transitioning, and was also one of the first to defend her about it if anypony had anything negative to say.
Since Pinkie Pie and the family still share Hearths Warming Eve with the Apple Family, Lilly thinks of AJ as a cousin; despite the fact others have said they look cute together - They see each other as best friends and family.
