original art? What is thisB is an old character of mine I recently revived since 1) they're really cute and 2) I've been looking at the group and it seems really adorable :'D
B would make a good character for that group, I think! They're a small Arabidopsis thaliana plant person that I drew up for fun last year, (Fall 2014 ie. THE SEMESTER OF SHITTY SCIENCE) and since then they've made small cameos in all sorts of projects, including a children's book I've been desperately looking for time to work on.
But I like them. So it's about time I make them the main attraction form once

i used Autodesk Sketchbook. It's different from Sketchbook Express, and has different features. I prefer this version because it supports layer modes! But express has things like transform tools, so it depends on what matters to you, really!

Oh boy, I checked this drawing out the other day but wasn't able to comment or even read the description at the time. Now that I return.....SOLSPRIS?? Oh man, I was a happy member of Minispris just before it stopped being active, but I loved the idea behind it, and seeing a group based of it now makes me extremely happy. Without you I wouldn't have seen it, so thank you!! (I wonder if I can create a character in time though :''''''''''D )

Eeeee thank you so much dearie omg!! I had so much fun finally drawing B in color. They've been one of my favorite designs from my children's book and they kept resurfacing despite not being anywhere near important to the story... So I pulled them out entirely and developed their personality a bit more. I feel like they're probably... The biggest brat I have :'D

I am! I've been working on it for a while now. It's been kind of a secret for a while. I don't really want to talk about it until it's done, because then it wouldn't be a surprise anymore! xD But I might throw concept art around a bit here and there~

Personally, I think you should go for it! Even if you work on it a little at a time, it's progress. Maybe even e-publish it? I did that in one class, I think I can remember if you want to do that.

I will! I've been thinking about it a lot. Frankly I think I might reconsider my basic plotline, but the themes of acceptance and understanding and self-love will probably be the same. Stuff I'd tell my own kids someday, y'know?
Ahhh maybe! I do want children to read and interact with it when it's out, and I'm a bit iffy about the idea of e-publishing a children's book. I should think about my target age group a bit more.
