Beryllium and her Flying mount Stelladonna the Dragonite are entering the Juniper Sky Cup! This is only the third time Berry has ever taken to the skies on her sky mount, but Stelladonna was insistent on this - after all, it's a perfect time to show up all the other sky mounts and assert her dominance as Queen of the SkyTM
Berry though... she seems to be enjoying the Juniper Cup even more than Stella is.
I'm happy for her, y'know? She deserves this.

Berry looks so happy!! It's infectious! Well apart from Stelladonna who is just too determined on becoming queen to notice.
Regardless!! I really love the posing here, it's so nice and looks believable. If I were less tired I would tell you everything else I love about this but alas! They would be incoherent. Such is life. BUT know that I really, really love this!!

I looove this piece so much, the colours are just a perfect combination and saturation, I don't think it gets much better than this!! I really love the composition of the BG frames and position of the trees too, it all fits together so nicely. Berry looks so happy, like a little kid again, you really captured the emotion! You go Stella, you fly to the heavens!

Thank you so much ches!! I messed around with curves so much to get the colors like this - I even defined a preset since can use as a base, haha! But ywah, even though this piece is kinda simple, I do like it quite a bit. If not just because Berry REALLY deserves a break. It's been a very rough two weeks for her... but I might draw something about that later. Some of it was quite entertaining.
Stella is going where no dragon has gone before.

Now on to the art! *tosses confetti into the air.* Really digging the expressions and sense of movement! The colors are swanky! I also like that the background looks like a triptych and that both Berry and Stella are not being confined inside of it completely.

Ahh thank you so much!! I'm so glad you think so. I messed with the colors quite a bit (mostly using curves - they do a good job with color if you play around with them!)
