So here it is! I wanted to do one for ages now, but I never had the time. I hope I made the deadline
This is my future progenitor Koa, a completely obsidian Mirror Dragoness I made up at the end of Beta. Here she is with some lovely lightish war paint
(To you Flight Rising Team! Clan related tatoos or markings or paint like this? Maybe as a reward for claiming Domination? I would so love that! 
)It's a bit dark... but hey, black's my colour! And I am a really happy and positive person. I am an optimist. So no worries
I stole Koas name. I saw it in one of the FR games (I think it was something like "Look at the lair of the last person to comment and say which dragon name you like best") and I immediately liked it. So, if that was you? Awesome name. I hope you don't mind me stealing it.

Let's see. I don't know much about the Flight Rising Lore (shame on me 
The Light symbol means she's a warrior of the Light clan.
The lines on her fins (just realized there are more on the right side... oh well 
The lines on her face say how many wars she has fought and survived.
And the lines on her throat tell you how many she has killed in a direct duel. (Which aren't that many, but she usually avoids the "Fight to the death and earn eternal glory"-duels. On the other hand she enjoys "normal" fights where you usually don't get killed, but the winner does get "eternal glory until he loses a battel" and a pile of treasure.)
This is what I've got so far. I hope it is as interesting as you imagined

Well, I wasn't aware of there being details like this being in the Lore yet *steals bag off emoticon*.
The idea of the markings denoting these things is certainly interesting, as well as it giving more detail about her personality.
I guess what I was wondering about was whether the symbol was awarded after a particular outstanding event, preventing or acting against some disaster *doesn't know enough Lore to know any good examples :\* or something. (An event that could potentially be roleplayed.

That is actually a pretty cool idea! I will definately think about that. (I've got a killer headache at the moment, so if you want to do any thinking, I'd be greatful! 
I think I will do a full body drawing of her some time, so there is a lot more space for nice war paint
