Ahh ive been trying to get this style down for months, and here you have it down and looking great! I love this style of art, it has so much space for style and flavor in it! These look great !

LOL I kind of have too. I havnt done a whole lot to attempt it but i have tried here and there, tried to study other peoples work to see if I can figure it out.

I did canines, standard mode, 5 minutes.
Essentially.. It FORCED me to do this style.
These are from me using that site: Speed Painting Puppies
The first two I was trying to follow my normal style, sketching first, coloring in, blahblah. And it just was NOT working as speedpainting to do in 5 minutes.
So by 3+4, i was having to be more messy about it. I just made mass blobs of color in the shapes of the animals, and filled in color lighting and shadows in chunks.
Then I wanted to try my hand at this on my own time wroking on some pet portraits. Which turned into Mel + Harley. :3
SOO basically. I had to FEEL THE PRESSURE in order to break from my normal habits and force myself to tackle it an entirely new way.

Thats EXACTLY what I am working on to do now!
Its so easy to just continue to draw in my old style
, however i wanting to better how I do my art
so learning this new style is quite challenging. But
im determined to tackle it. I will use that first website
