Yes. My former husband was from Osaaka. After we married we went to Tokyo for US Embassy business and also he showed me around Tokyo. I also went to Tokyo Tower. Trust me I would love to return.

However, when I was a student, I lived in Tokyo for about three years.

I went to Kyoto twice.
It is far though I want to go more.
It is only a wonderful place even if it sees from the Japanese!!

However, there are quite a lot of tourists because it is a popular destination for tourist!!
I think that I am more wonderful if neither beautiful nature nor a traditional temple also has the tourist...
(It is an impossible story. )
You should not go to the peak of sightseeing!
