I took a while but its done. i was asked for just a color treated line art. and i chose to do it american comic style, except the fact that i fadded the black some.

Talk about quite the show offs. I do have to say though that the background looks a little flat. its a shame too because imo its taking away from depth Furvus and DJ bring. other than that amazing anatomy

I understand the background is flat. Most of everything is flat colors to give it an old american comic look. The depth thing is what I'm curious about. I don't know that definition

actually you answered it yourself: the whole idea of the area being flat is depth. and when you put it like that it does make sense, comic book backgrounds, at least the old ones looked rather flat but got the job done. also for shits and giggles: Complete detail; thoroughness. this is one of the many definitions

Alot of people like DJ but even though he's popular that may not be the case here. Especially when you compare body mass. Being more ripped and defined isn't the same thing as strength.

if that is the case then there is something wrong with one of their bios as well as there physical descritions. or maybe thats just my own oppinion. it seems like no one want to state some of the obvious or contrary because they are fanboys/girls.

Furvus is a respected muscle fur within the community, as is DJ. The two are really close friends and train together. The idea for this artwork is that I wanted to show a bit of a humorous situation and did not really intend it to be some sort of competition between the two. Furvus knows his limitations as it comes to strength and is comfortable in who he is. He knows that he is very strong and can hold his own, but his intentions are to be respectful and he's very loyal to his good friends such as DJ. Again, great job on this artwork and thanks so much for doing it

I know what you wanted to depict in this picture with the prank. And I understand the friendship thing. I'm speaking about the physical part of it, The mass I put on furvus. I know this is no contest or grudge match between you 2.

Says Furvus. Let me tell you a bit about the big wolf. He is respectful towards others and is very loyal to his friends. He does not hate on others or the artwork that they are portrayed in or tells other anthros that are weaker than him that he can beat them in anyway or challenge them. He does not brag, even though he is very strong and he has developed a fan base and respect from others here on FA (and DA) because of this. But, if you must know, he competes as a strong fur and bodybuilder and is also a cop and puts gangs in the hospital for a living. He's calm now, but don't make him angry...you wouldn't like him when he's angry

Furvus was not bragging at all. In fact, he was testing you also. He's open to being friends with anyone...read his stories and you'll see and know that he is not mean...nor am I. With what you wrote, you sounded like you were challenging and not just enjoying the artwork. Before you call someone mean, you should try and get to know them. I'm not a mean person and have others on here on FA who can back me up on that. Even with all of this, Furvus says that you can train with him anytime...now, does this sound like something a mean person would say?
