There's something really appealing about this.... I think it might have something to do with heavier detail being built around very flat and simple shapes. The thin, triangular nose and the short, curved line for the mouth/smile, in particular, stand out to me against the shading and lighting work. The mask stands out as well in shape. Nice work!
