Petticoat, thats it. Yeah, don't see it to often used and only seen one bit of art with it. I don't know if I seen it in Anime/Manga or not. But was told its accurate. Either way, awesome job. May have to think about remaking the dress in polyester. Ironning the thing to watch it wrinkle up halfway through the day is just...arggg >.< (Rambling, sorry XD)

In the anime, there is a upskirt shot of Rei from Shinji's POV which shows the petticoat. I tried to do a simmilar one by forcing one of our photographers onto the floor in an odd angle but it didn't work well XD
It works well, as we were rolling around on the floor for part of the PS and so on, and no creases yet XD
