Oh look, I'm submitting a cat after April Fool's.
Oh darn, looks like I'm not getting one of those badges that amount to nothing in my life.
HAHA.

Anyways, some little sketch I made yesterday on a whim. I just felt like drawing animals, or even a tattoo design for myself, and those two ended up on paper.
Ayup. Cats and Owls. They stalk me, I swear.

The cat is holding an iris with the moon, and the owl has a sunflower with... a sun. The only things I looked up references for were the flowers, and you can see how terrible I am WITH a reference. Would explain why the animals look terrible...
It was going to stay simple, like clip-art simple, but... idek what happened here.
Might try a new colouring style with this, and do a digital and traditional render to see where my skills lie currently.

I might finish this one day.

Inspiration may have come from looking at a couple pictures of my own characters, my cats, and my mom's flowers she got when she came back from Canada.

Fun fact: The owl was going to be a raven, but I'm crap at drawing crows and ravens. Then the cat was going to be a snake, but I suck at long curves. So I just went with the two animals I always see [besides jackass crows who seem to hate my existence].
This was also going to involve a scorpion for my zodiac, but I omitted that wayward idea.
It was also in pending to be a unicorn for my mother, but I'm also pretty bad at equines.
