Whenever Adam's about to go into an area where the risk of him getting killed is high, he always makes sure to gear up beforehand. At the start of each day, when he leaves for work, he makes sure everything is placed in the trunk of his car. Bulletproof vest; AR-15 rifle, with five magazines loaded with 5.56mm rounds; his Springfield XD sidearm, with four magazines loaded with .45-caliber rounds; his backup weapon, a Taurus Judge five-shot revolver, with fifteen extra .410-bore shotshells; and a department-issue walkie talkie to stay in communication with his fellow officers. Can never be too careful.
