OHAY GUYS, YOU KNOW ABOUT THE PEN TOOL!? You know, that tool that a large population of newbie Photoshoppers seem to have nightmares over!? The one whose twin tweaking thingamajigs that pop up when you click an anchor point make you want to slit your wrists and gouge your eyes out!? Well, for the first time ever, I successfully utilized that baby, and, boy, was it a doozy! Two days. Two days spent adding, deleting, and tweaking anchor points on that crazy mannequin. Thank God for video tutorials like this , or I would've given up on what is supposedly the perfect tool for this sort of thing altogether. Oh, Alt key, I love you!

So here we have Subaru and Hokuto Sumeragi from "Tokyo Babylon," a manga series that I'm not particularly fond of, yet the art and OVAs seriously rock hard in my opinion. This piece is based off one of my favorite drawings from the "Tokyo Babylon Photographs" art book. I had a lot of fun working on this, as it was done simply for pleasure, which is such a refreshing break from commercial, work-related art.
