This is truly a beautiful queen. her body speaks for itself, the skincolor is just perfect and I love this navel, it looks like a diamond e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="
but unfortunately the background annoys me. itself it is nice and well done. but the line of the horizon disturbs the harmony between this beautiful queen and the background.
especially this part on the right side of the picture were the horizon meets the shroud.
not a critique but more an inducement: the beauty of the woman could be more accentuated with the help of the bg, if it would be a window of a nice palace or something like that.
my last point is the crown. the lips and eyes are really pretty, they sparkle and they are glossy and the crown has a nice shape, but it looks a bit like general blanksheet not like a noble metal like gold.

With the critique in mind, I took a fresh look at the painting. The background is what it is, good or bad, but I see that the crown could be improved. So, I've done some more studies of gold (what I could find, at least) and touched up the painting using colored pencils. The image has been replaced now with the updated version. Hopefully it works better.
