Titles don't really mean much. An art critic told me once that there should be some mystery about the title, and that it should not totally reveal what the subject matter is. Maybe I'll start using the name of the formula I use. That way the author of the formula will get some credit.

haha, good idea. I always get stuck when I have to name my pieces. Some are sort of obvious and then there are those that are sorta of a repetiton..and the rest leaves you in the dark...

Sometimes if I'm stuck for a title I'll name it after a song I like. Actually, "in the dark" would be a good title. You could have a series, like, 1,2,3,4. Ah, forget it.

Sounds like a good idea, but if you're like me you'll get hung up on what numbers to choose. And there's an awful lot of numbers to choose from. lol. I would advise you not to change a thing right now. You can re-title your work at any time. And in the end the title is not that important. I've probably looked at thousands of works, and I can name only a few titles. It's the work itself we should concentrate on.

No problem! I should thank you, you did most of the work! Mine are just the observations from afar; my thoughts of your work... these thoughts may not have been if it weren't for your original thought being manifested into a work of art! Of course, being an artist myself I know you must have pulled your inspiration from somewhere... but without the inspired ones, the thoughts would disappear into thin air... and it was something inside of you that drew the inspiration in...

I suppose that inspiration is what inspires the inspirational... and if I've inspired you, it's only because you've inspired me as well! Such is the infinite beauty of life I can't help but admire!
