Thanks, and a tip o' the Hatlo hat, goes out to for taking the time to inform me that this is not a Herring Gull, it is indeed a Ring-billed Gull. They are as numerous as the rats around here. But not as ugly.

No,no, don't apologize. I stand corrected. I grew up and now live 2 blocks from the Atlantic. You think I'd know the difference by now. Thank you. I shall change the title. Oh, and thanks for your comment about the detail. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time with the right lighting. Now, would you do me a favor? I'm having trouble identifying this hawk. My friend says it's a falcon. Looks like a hawk to me. And it's way larger than a falcon. I could look it up online, and I shall. Thank you Penny. Sometimes I forget that I'm a photographer too. The Great Spirit was definitely with me. Yes, it's only a seagull; however, they are beautiful creatures in their own right. I cheated a little bit. My friend, Joshua, was tossing them stale bread. They go nuts over it. I'm so grateful I live 2 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. I grew up here.
