Description I had a lot of problems with the nose and I never quite got it right. I made the brush used for the bubbles, but I might take the time later on to change those, I don't really care too much for them.

Nice artwork with Ariel, even with the issue with the nose.

And actually, that artwork almost reminds me of a scene in the Anthology version of Final Fantasy VI where Terra BranfordΒ first enters Narshe. You can find the scene at 0:06 here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=abjRM6…

This looks awesome!! Very nicely done..
I just have one tiny crit. I would suggest making the bubbles a little more transparent, since they're very white and they take the focus off of Ariel a bit. Otherwise great job!!

If I may make a few suggestions...
I think your problem with the nose is that the mouth is too close to it. Perhaps shifting the mouth down will solve that problem. I think adding color to the bubbles and making them more transparent would be a good idea, but I like the placement and size of them. There's a beautiful movement to them, and they look very nice.
I love her eyes here, and the shading is well done, enough to show form but it works with the soft light filtering through the surface of the water. I also like that you chose the color the line art instead of leaving it black, it gives it a very clean finish.
I like this piece very much, and I think you did a great job with it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think shifting the mouth down would help a lot, and that could also explain the problems I had with the chin. I never thought to add color to the bubbles. Transparency, alone, didn't look right.
