So let's just get into it, from left to right----> Penina, Sekai, Folami, Chika, Jayde, Mala, Desta, Jojo, Kasi, Tazama, Shabaha, and Imara.

Obviously we have Vitani's guard at the end and you might recognize Penina, Jayde, Chika, and Mala from the "Lions in the Outlands" episode of The Lion Guard. The others are lionesses in the background of TLK2.

Penina- Raised by her mother Kenya, Penina grew up to be extremely loyal to her pride. The Grasslanders are born fighters and she was no different. She dreamed of being the head guard for the future Queen Zira but unfortunately, fate had other plans. When the Grasslands had been attacked during Zira's coronation They were forced to abandon their home. Penina took her young cub Jayde and ran. However, she still was loyal to Zira and the rest of the Grasslanders and followed orders to a t despite conditions getting worse and worse. Penina was unable to pull her self out of the revenge fog clouding Zira and struggles to accept Simba as her king even though her queen is now dead.

Sekai- Sekai was a little older than Penina and Zira but felt it was her job to protect the princess and all the other cubs in the pride including her sister Folami. She got these ideas from her father Yeru, he wanted to make sure both his daughters look after each other because he wasn't sure how long he would be able to stay in the pride. Sekai also had a young daughter when the pride was attacked, her name is Mala. She follows Zira blindly and feels that loyalty should not be questioned. She was not quick to accept Simba as her new leader but whenever Vitani stood up to her own mother she realized the fighting needed to end.

Folami- She looked up to her sister Sekai and basically copied whatever she did. Although her pride sisters were content being lower class she dreamt of becoming a queen. When Folami was a teen she was approached by none other than King Tuma's brother Jaz (aka the strange lion). She believed he wanted her to be his queen when he overthrows his brother, however, she was unaware he had already approached many other lionesses in the pride. Whenever he was exiled Folami was left with a broken heart and two cubs, Desta and Jojo. Her self esteem was shot and gave up on trying to become royalty and accepted her destiny as a follower.

Chika- Chika was born around the same time as Mala and Jayde to Yeru's brother Zesiro. Zira's guidance to the Pridelands made her very reliant on Zira for everything which is why she was so susceptible to her and Scar's manipulation. While in the Outlands she met a lion who was very charming then mysteriously disappeared. A couple of months later she gave birth to a little lioness and named her Kasi.

Jayde- Born in the Grasslands but grew up in the Pridelands under Scar's rule. She knew nothing other than tyranny so it's no wonder she was a loyal follower to Zira. Though she was loyal she was one of the first to begin doubting her leadership.

Mala- She also blindly follows Zira and agrees with her way of doing things. She isn't scared of Scar and quite frankly looks up to him as a father figure. His death really took a toll on her and she understood where Zira was coming from. During her time in the Outlands that mysterious lion also caught Mala's eye. Later she gave birth to Shabaha and Tazama and she quickly realized they would be a handful.

Desta and Jojo- These twins are mischievous, inseparable, and sly, so the basic traits of any of the Outsiders. Growing up under the paws of tyrants meant they knew no different so when Vitani and Kovu led the way for a new kind of leader they were skeptical, to say the least. It took some time and especially some advice surprisingly from Nala but they eventually realized the value of respecting the circle of life.

Kasi- She grew up alongside Vitani and looks to her as a role model. They are very similar but Kasi takes things a little too seriously. She is the fastest in Vitani's Guard.

Tazama- Tazama struggled to take orders from Zira because she thought she could find a more effective way to do things, but all of her friends and family didn't seem to have a problem with it so she stuck it out. Joining the Pridelanders gave Tazama the freedom to do what she thought was best and she admired Vitani and Kiara for realizing that the violence was nonsense. In Vitani's Guard, she is the Keenest of Sight.

Shabaha- She is a little offputting because of her slightly crazy personality and love of violence but once you get to know her she is quite lovable. Much like the rest of the Outsiders she is very loyal to her pride and is not afraid to get her paws dirty. She becomes the bravest in Vitani's Guard.

Imara- That same lion that passed through the Outlands is Imara's father and her mother is Hasana from the other Zira's Pride picture. She is the strongest in Vitani's Guard and doesn't understand Nuka and his need to impress his mother.
