Why did you take this picture? What was your thought process while taking it. Was it inspired, or spur of the moment? who is this girl and her relation to you? Why does she look like that? Was it a specific pose?

Wow that's a lot of questions... I'll try my best to hit them all.
1) Honestly, I took this picture because I was bored and Alice was too.
2) My thought was that I wanted to get a closer shot because I had been doing a lot of far off shooting with my zoom lense.
3) It was completely spur of the moment.
4) The model's name is Alice and she is a dear, dear friend of mine at school.
5) I don't understand how to answer why she looks the way she does. She just DOES.
6) She was turning so no, I didn't plan the pose or the face. She often makes that face haha.

On a deeper note though... Alice is very much in touch with her Indian heritage and she had been wanting to model in one of her saris for a long time. This was really for her.
