Dana is into romance novels? You somehow wouldn't expect her to because she seems so down-to-earth. All we knew before was that she was reading a pulp novel. I love how perplexed Nerva looks in the panel after Dana tells her what she's been reading 
I think they are going for the newspaper next time and read some kind of shocking article...like about Nerva's attacker! (but that's just my weird idea which probably won't happen ^^°)
by the way "Anxious is okay" is a good line. Props to you for coming up with it! Their dialogue is very relatable again. Just like any normal dialogue that could take place between two people in a hotel

Well, it's more a case of "which option is LESS engaging": back in chapter 5, after the teevee was depressing, she tried anything to get some other reading material, but not newspapers , so she got what was in the hotel's lost and found : a children's magazine and a pulp romance novel.
