It's not always apparent, but I have a penchant for scaly things. So for my last project in Drawing IV, in which I was to create a set of four images that had a common theme, I went the *uncreative* route and decided to draw a bunch of lizards.An iguana, a huge scaly thing which I have flip-flopped about as to whether I want one for a pet. If I ever get a lizard, I'll probably go for something smaller, but they just look so dignified. And dinosaur-like.
Done in colored pencil.

I like geckos too, they're so tiny and cute and they could climb on my walls and I wouldn't mind at all. Not sure which would be better/which is easier to care for...iguanas prolly live longer...

The use of different shades of green in this one is frankly amazing.

Yeah doing all those was a bitch, I'm just going to tell it straight.xDD Really I only used three different greens and blended them differently...and then went purple all over the dark parts. I actually wasn't as happy with this one so I'm glad you like it.^^
