I think I have Officially lost my mind! I've been in a bit of a slump lately by not posting anything... Then I thought of this! 2nd ver. kruzer.deviantart.com/art/Cart…As you may know CN may have brought back Toonami for adult swim, but I still wish for an Anime block for the new generation in the daytime. Sadly CN still hates Anime AKA a good tastefull thing... BUT ALSO they don't want Cartoons for Girls!?! They wanted to consentrate on boy shows because that's where the money is... and yet most of their boy cartoons are put to shame by Girl-toon on the Hub (Particularlly MLP:FiM). SO HERE'S AN IDEA CARTOON NETWORK, in some spanish countries they had a short lived block called "Girl Power" unfortunetly it only showed PPG, PPGZ and a random Barbie movie. NOW as you may know for 2013 for her 20th Anniversary Toei is remaking Sailor Moon (I can't wait) and not too long after I heard that more Totally Spies episodes were coming! Not to mention all the hype and hope for Lauren Faust's SBFFs to become a full fledge series! Now if CN wants to be in good graces with the fairer sex, I doubt this idea will let them down! A whole block for the girls and women in the world of animation from the US and Japan!
On the left we have Powered Buttercup (Kaoru Matsubara) from PowerPuff Girls Z, wether you love it or hate it you have to admit it's better then most of the stuff CN has put on in the last 5 years (Even the Ocean Group dub looks like a gold mine compared to most of its crap) PLEASE, BRING IT TO THE US ALREADY... preferably redubbed. Next needs no introduction SAILOR MOON (Usagi Tsukino) if you don't know who she is, then "In the name of the moon I shall Punish you" I hope to see the new series in 2013 ... Ive Been Wonering, People have been bugging Funimation to redub the original Sailor Moon, and Funimation has been known to block Videos of her... Anyway I hope you like, now I have to put my strightjacket back on! Also the Girl Power's logo was from the original Girl Power. Finally if CN, DC and WB do make shows out of shorts, I'm also hoping for PlasticMan.

That's the point of this picture. In the past Cartoon Network was excellent not only for having good quality shows from around the ENTIRE WORLD (especially Japan), but it also had something for EVERYONE! I explained most of my point in the first paragraph... BTW Do you also wish this was for real!

It would be nice for CN to finally grow some balls and span out with their shows a bit. Stereotypes are the reason Faust made FiM, and as with Sailor Moon and PPG from back in the day, it's time CN shows audiences again that girls can kick ass too!

The girls that you have incorporated have very distinct personas, powers and abilities; trying to balance each show's hype would be quite a daunting but rewarding task so, yes I think that a "Girl Power" block can work; Its all about finding the appropriate timeframe that long enough incorperate all six shows and then some.
