Poor Oswald's gonna be stuck in that mall for a while.

Oswald probably was in the mall with his kids since the mall open and he won't leave until all of his kids meet Santa and sat on his lap or when the mall closed for the night. That mall Santa going have a whole day of rabbits sitting on his lap. XD

Probably Oswald was born with blue fur then turn it turned black when he matured. That's just my guess. However, the Japanese version of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit is blue with yellow shorts, wile the regular American version is black with blue shorts.
