You've got a pretty cool style.

Thanks! I'm trying to get a great portfolio of work in that style.

Are you using Sharpies?  Or other fine point permanent markers?

No, no. I'm using more expensive markers called Copic 'Sketch' Markers and Staedtler Fineliners.

Oh, the real deal.  Good choice.  I've never used Copic before. Are they worth  the money? Messed around with Prismacolor but wasn't really that impressed.  Not for $5 a marker anyway.

Yep! The real deal, awesome stuff! I've been collecting Copic markers for years but never really used them. They are definitely worth the money but you have to put in the effort of learning how to use them, I even had to buy a book to make sure I was using them properly. I had a lot of people thinking I was using watercolours but it's just how well the markers blend so well together.
I would rather choose Copic Markers over Watercolours, any day.

I'll have to check them out.  Been trying to do more full-color stuff.  I never understood the big deal about graphite drawing pencils until I got some and read a book about them.  Sometimes you just have to do your homework I guess!
