I really like the concept. I know it's a rough drawing, but the one issue I'm having with it is the anatomical proportions. Adult Inuyasha's lower legs look a tiny bit too short (and I do mean just a tiny bit!), and little Inuyasha's head is just a touch too big. It's the same size as adult Inuyasha's when it should be just a bit smaller since he's probably only about 4-5 years old. Again, both issues aren't huge, but just big enough to be noticeable, imo. Otherwise, though, like I said, I really like the general concept, lighting, composition, etc.

No problem.
If you're interested in a really great anatomy book, check out Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist by Stephen Rogers Peck (Amazon: www.amazon.com/Atlas-Anatomy-A… ). It's my anatomy Bible, basically. It was the required text for a Figure Anatomy class I took my senior year of college and almost ten years later it's STILL within arm's reach of my work space in all of its highlighted, post-it noted, dog eared pages, ratty glory. lol
It breaks down anatomy into sections (upper arm, lower arm, back, torso, etc., even down to the neck and muscles of the face) with text describing the function of the muscles, "medically correct" images of the muscles, and then "sketch pages" in which Peck draws the muscles in visual ways that break down everything into easily understood and easy to remember shapes/sections. It's a fabulous book that I recommend to EVERYBODY who expresses even a slight interest in improving their anatomy work!
And even better still, it's dirt cheap because it's been around for so long. As you'll see, it's less than $20 USD new and used copies are less than $5.
