Well, I've been drawing again. I do one face per day, for practice.edit: Gosh, I hope this doesn't appear in everyone's watch box thing again. I just moved the girl on the right's, er, right eye up a bit. It was too low; was bothering the snot out of me. Sorry.

Great line work! The lips seem a bit strange on the first face however, of course, I realize they are mear sketches.

Yea, I think I know what you mean. I was going to leave the bottom lip, er, unshaded. But then I had an idea. "Why not go ahead and shade ONLY the bottom lip, that'd be sweet." So I did, and it doesn't look good. Oh well, trial and error is how you get good, I guess.

These faces are beautifully striking, Kevin! They jumped out, instantly readable from the thumbnail, and that's one of the major tests of an excellently drafted drawing!!!

Wow, I never even thought of it that way. My drawings typically look kind of wonky in thumbnail view, but I figured that was because my line work was pretty thin er' something.
I actually drew these before I killed my car. You can buy me another one, if you want, and I'll probably smash it up unintentionally. I think I'd be numb to the smashing after a while.

no D: i miss it a lot. we did it for four hours a week at my last school but at this school.. we're not. but if all is well we should be doing life drawing this coming quarter...
