"see you guys later." Shikyo walks away from the friends she was hanging out with before her mission.

"Bye Shikyo good luck." her friend Hebi says as Shikyo walks away to go to the human world.

Its been a long time since I've been to the human world, hope there's not to much trouble. Shikyo thinks to her self as she stops in front of the gate to the human world. The gate opens and she steps through. A flash pf white and she appears, standing in mid air above a river running through a city. She pauses and realizes shes not where she was supposed to be. She looks around, this is America, not japan. she looks around at her surroundings. Guess I'll take in the looks before going to japan. She descends to the ground and walks along side the river watching people and cars walk by.

Minutes into her calming walk she seances a spiritual pressure of a hollow and the pressure of another being she had never felt before. She pulls out her Zanpakutō Tsume and heads in that direction. There was a scream and the hollow disappeared but the other being remained. She follows the pressure and comes up to a bridge. Sword still in hand she looks under the bridge to find another soul reaper covered in blood shaking. She sheaths her blade and approaches him. "um, are you okay?" she asks the boy appearing to look the age of 13.

the boy turns and look at her his eyes water looking as if he were to cry at any moment. His voice shaky "i...i...i don't know."

Shikyo walks up to the boy and lies a hand on is shoulder. "it's okay." she pauses to figure out what to say. "try to calm down, breath in through your nose and out through your mouth."

He obeys. A minute later he was calm. "i...i think I'll be okay."

"that's good." she smiles at him. " so whats your name?" she asks him.

He looks up and tries to think. "i don't know." he looks at her. "i just remember it starts with an I or a J." he continues to think. "i actually don't remember anything."

"well then I guess we'll call you J since I would just sound weird."she looks him in his eyes. "my names Shikyo." she inspects him with her eyes. He had silver hair, pale skin, and blue eyes.

He looks her over, she had violet hair, darker skin then him, and orange eyes. "okay then I'm J then." he holds out his hand.

She takes it shakes it and then helps him up. "so you don't remember anything?" she lets go of his hand.

"yep." he says oddly cheerfully. " well I do remember one thing."

"what?" she asks.

"I Like Pie!!" he grins.

Shikyo raises an eyebrow, "oookaaay?" she turns and begins to walk away. "walk with me." she motions for him to follow.

He catches up to her and they walk along side the river talking.

"you're probably wonder what exactly you are?" Shikyo looks and J kindly.

"ya kinda." he responds.

She sighs as she knows its gonna be a bit of a talk. "well we're what you call Soul Reapers, we are souls who have a high level of spiritual energy who have the duty of helping wandering souls to pass on and go to our world the Soul Society to rest. We also have to keep a soul by the name of Hollows from eating the other wander souls. We use our Zanpakutō's," she pulls out her's." and swings it at and angle slicing through the air. "to cleanse the spirits from their sins so we can help them pass on. She stops and holds her Zanpakutō out for him to see. "this here's Tsume."

"i see now, and wait you named your sword." he looks from the sword to her with a questionable look on his face.

She giggles "no silly, that's the spirit of this swords name." she nods to the large sword on his back. "yours is the same way. But since you forgot everything you probably don't remember its name." she sheaths Tsume. They begin to walk again.

"oh... I see, cool." he looks over his shoulder at the sword propped on his back. He turns back to see Shikyo walking right into a busy road of cars going at least 35mph. "Shikyo watch out!" he yells as she walk out into the middle of it.

A car passes right through her. She stops turns around and smiles as more cars pass through her. "don't worry, did you forget that we're spirits."

His jaw had dropped and heart was racing as he saw the cars pass through her, "wha?" he shook his head and closed his jaw. "i did, but when you just go do something like that with out warning, people tend to freak out." he walked up to the side of the road looking both ways seeing tones of cars either way. He steps out and flinches as a car passes through him. He then jogs to catch up to Shikyo who was already on the other side of the street.

She shakes her head smiling. "you're a very funny kid." she puts her on his head and ruffles his hair up.

"Hey!" he shoves her hand off and fixes his hair. He glares at her but smiles quickly as she was smiling kindly at her.

"Jot this down in your mind, most humans do not have a high enough spiritual energy to see us but there are a few so don't freak out if someone can see you." her feet begin to carry her forward again.

They walk for about an hour making small talk when Shikyo stops and sighs. "Well I guess I'll be off. I'm on a mission and I'm supposed to be in Japan but they sent me to the wrong place."

He stops along side her, "Oh." he comments sadly look at the ground. "I was having fun too." he smiles a bit at her.

"I'm sorry but Hollows can't cleanse them selves and spirits can't seem to find their way to the Soul Society by themselves either." she looks up at the starry night. " don't worry we'll keep in touch." she then pulls out a cellphone and calls up the Society.

Minutes later a gate appears in front of them. She turns to J and holds out her hand. "its good to meet you, see ya later."

He takes her hand and shakes it. "ya, same." they both let go and he watches the first person he ever met since he lost his memory walk through the gate and disappear.
