This is me. I am the good and the bad together. I am the result of my history. The things I've been through have left their scars upon me, for better or for worse. But those very things are what makes me the woman I am.

The focus is supposed to be me and not my wounds. However scars are part of who I am and the things I've been through. I won't censor my being for an art site when I won't even censor myself for my family. It's the whole that matters. And I hope you see the whole here. My past has made me bolder, freer, and far stronger than I once was.

Now because DA is getting a wee bit carried away with it's duties in some places and not in others, I should point out that these wounds in this picture are fake.

Well you know what? They're not. They are real scars. People do things. We get in fights. We fall down stairs. We get beaten up. We even beat ourselves up. We trip over the dog. We bump into the sliding glass door. We get pounced by the dog with sharp claws. We go into surgery. We drop a steak knife on our toe by accident. We pass out and slam our heads on something. It's part of life. I see nothing wrong with it.
