Description
Commissioned for of her male elven character Chemilia.I had a wonderful time working on this one. The character was described as "a blend of the characters Thranduil and Elrond from the Lord of the Rings series" with a "crown of deer/elk antlers, acorns, and leaves". But beyond that I was given free range to paint him as I wanted (costume design, pose etc.) and I must say I'm really happy at how he came out.

The costume is certainly very pretty. Matches the elegant nature of this character. It's also interesting to see black hair on a character representing winter too as opposed to the more expected white. So it gets points for originality there too (although I'm sure a white haired version would have been just as cool anyway

Ah, I never considered how white hair would have looked. But now that you mention it, I think I'd like that look too.... even if it's a bit harder to paint.
