This made me suck my breath in with a sharp hiss. I don't see many play piercing shots around here - I really like the DOF you used. I still can't decide whether my involuntary breath-suckage was because I like this or because it freaks me out.

It means depth of field. *grin* In this case, I was referring to liking how short it is - that the piercings are in perfect focus, but your hand just inches away is softly out of focus. It dramatically highlights the metal!
