You've got 3 houses as well? Nice! I just started playing 2 days ago. Only 3 hours in an about to deal with the first bandit mission (after the tutorial).

Great choice! The game's amazing, easily my most played switch game of 2019. Picked Blue Lions and wasn't dissapointed. Right now I started my second run with the Golden Deers but I'm waiting for all the DLC to drop first.

Yeah! Gotta say, at first I was sorta skeptical with all the seemingly anime stereotype characters, but they seem to be somewhat deeper than I initially thought them to be. And I like that there's some darker bits of story going on. I felt Fate/Birthright/Revelation and Awakening both were pretty light in that matter, and sometimes bordering humoristic (like with the small facts of each character, such as Lon'Qu being the fastest potato peeler). Could be wrong about Fates/Birthright/Revelation, tho, since I haven't fully finished that one yet. ... ... I guess I should, tho.. Since I've got all all 3 of them and am only about halfway in Birthright... xD
I picked Black Eagles as the starting house because I thought Edelgard was too cool a name to pass up, hahaha. But I'll definitely be doing runs with the other houses once done : )

Yeah, I felt similar about Fates. It's not bad, but... it just doesn't pull me in as much as Awakening did, and 3H does. Otherwise I would've completed it by now, but I probably never will :')
3H on the other hand, man.. Now that I got some 50-something hours in, I think I can say this is the best FE game I've played to date. Even if they did change some things like the weapon triangle and class system. It feels so fleshed out with the characters and such.
I haven't played Echoes yet, it's a remake of an older FE game isn't it? I've played Rekka No Ken (GBA), Sacred Stones (GBA), Shadow Dragon (DS), Awakening (3DS), Fates (3DS), and Three Houses.
