Finished another Beyonce drawing. This one came out looking alot more like her than the last. The only problem is that I begin to realize the paper curls and wrinkles the more pencil I use. I might have to get a sketchpad or book from now on.Regular copy paper with .5 mechanical pencil and kneaded eraser <3
Shrunk it because I think it looks better and more realistic that way.

wow, dude you did really good on this, I remember are argument about smudging and stuff, don't know why my teach said not to do it, but hey if you can make something this awesome why not! How big of paper did you use, regular 8x11, just wondering cause usually people who do portraits do them on big paper so they can get all the detail, but if you did that on regular 8x11 then thats awesome.

I feel terrible for you, because I know exactly how it feels like when THE FRICKIN' PAPER CURLS UP ON YOU! Gosh, it drives me insane, but that aside...
I really love the lighting~ Especially the cross - IT'S SO SHINY! Her right eye looks like it has smudge mark problems or something like that, but the rest of it's really niceee! I wish I had her hair the more I look at this...

Yeah, there were smudges and stuff on the scanner too. I had to romove alot of dirt specs and stuff before submitting it >>;
And it's the wrinkles that drive me crazier. You can see faint stripes on the hair because there is so much pencil on there.

In my honest opinion, she kinda looks like she has down syndrome. xD It's still a way from looking exactly like Beyonce, but hey, it's great. The hands are really well-done.

this is FANTASTIC! I thought it was a photo at first glance. I know what you mean about the pencil strokes. I try not to upload large versions of pencil portraits myself, but I have friends that love seeing all the strokes so I do it anyway. This is really good though. Keep it up!

That might help, as long as you have a scanner that can scan it lol. that's a problem I tend to run into.
