For the first question, I don't know. Japaneses scientists already made some humanoid robots so I think it's just a question of time. We already have some robots in your life, like the vacum robot or thing like that, but European robots look more like object than Japaneses's which look more like human. And I know a lot of people are against robots because my boyfriend imagined a plant robot that could walk. He want to make this project for real and is already on the internet ( you can check his project here: inkisitordesigner.deviantart.c⦠and we can find two kind of people: people who are totally fascinated by the project and want to see more, and people who think plants doesn't have to walk and this idea is insane. For humanoid robot, it'll depend of the people who use it. Maybe you can watch "Real Human", it's a TV show about humanoid robot and you can see different point of view from people about the robots. Some think they are just tool, but some think that they are like us humans. I'm more in "human" side but I can't tell how people will react with humanoid robot ^^
