History: Misha was to a family of lesser nobles, that of Viscounts. His father had once participated in a war, 'freeing' the Matcka region from the so called feral tribes of the region, and pushing them into the Outlands. Due to his nature, Misha never really got along with his father, and often spent more time learning from his Mother. She was gentle and kind, accepting of any and all. Misha was the second born son, meaning he didn't have any succession rights, nor did he have to deal with his father. He spent most of his time studying, he was to become some sort of council member or warrior, according to his father. None of that really interested in though.
From a young age, Misha always confided in his mother, no matter how little of a secret it may have been. She knew he liked to sneak out of the house while the father was away, and she saw it as a good opportunity of him to learn of the world. He kept to himself, watching from a distance, and keeping himself hidden. It was fun to observe people in the surrounding villages going about their everyday life. Misha really didn't have any friends, as he always kept to himself, but watching the others play was always something he enjoyed.
One day, while he was out exploring a nearby forest, Misha found himself being chased by a beast, one that would be similar to a very demonic looking hog. He ran as quick as he could, but he couldn't outrun the beast that was chasing him. Due to his quick thinking, he was able to scale a tree before it was too late, the beast crashing into the spot he had just been. The beast was circling around the tree, occasionally headbutting it, as if trying to make Misha fall. The young and small Skitty kept looking around, trying to find out some answer to get out of this situation, he was too small to try and jump to a different tree, and night would be falling here pretty soon.
As he looked around, he heard a yell as another boy fell from a nearby tree, crashing a spear into the beast below, swiftly killing it. A wave of relief swept through Misha, but was quickly dried up when he saw that the boy had the horns of an Oni, he was one of the feral tribes that his father was constantly talking about. The oni in particular were considered to be savage beasts that only craved violence. Misha was unsure of what to do, still thinking on how he could get out of this situation. He knew his father was extreme, but it was still difficult to avoid thinking like that after watching this boy not much older or bigger than him kill that beast so easily. As he sat there thinking, dazed, the Oni had made his way up the tree and settled himself down next to the Skitty. "So... you just gonna stay up here all night?" The sound of the boy so suddenly next to him startled him to the point that he lost his balance, finding himself falling from his spot in the tree. The other boy was quick to act, and caught Misha quickly, holding him in a gentle princess hold and jumping out of the tree with grace, landing gently on the floor below.
Misha immediately scrambled away from from the Oni the moment they touched the ground, slightly flushed at the suddenly being held and the quick movements. He was unsure of how to react, this boy had saved him, but he was exactly what he was told to always avoid. The boy was just staring at him curiously, a toothy grin on his face, waiting patiently. This boy had saved him, his father was the strange one. "It's customary of one to treat their saviors, would you like to have a dinner at my place? It's the mansion on the outskirts of the forest... My father is away and I'm sure my mother would welcome you." He spoke slowly, unsure of if he should be saying that. Sure, his father was away, his mother was always accepting and welcoming, so it should be fine? Right?
The boy seemed to contemplate for a moment before nodding, mentioning he would need to take the beast back to his village so that the others would be able to eat tonight. Misha looked from the boy, who was only slightly taller than him, and then at the massive beast. How would he carry that to his village? Misha honestly didn't have time to contemplate this as the boy grabbed the beast and slung it over his should with ease, walking away from Misha who had a shocked expression on his face.
As soon as the boy was out of sight, Misha made his way back home, making sure to find his mother as soon as he got home. He explained the beast, the Oni boy, and how he had invited said boy to the house as a way to say thank you. The mother smiled and nodded, saying she would take care of the guards and everything else so that the boy would be welcomed.
Only about an hour or two passed when the guards came running to Mother saying that there was an Oni outside the mansion saying he was invited here by the Young Master. They already knew that, but it was still unheard of to have any of the feral tribes come by the mansion. Misha watched as his mother waved for the boy to come in. As the Oni came in, he did his best to bow in front of Misha and his mother, introduced himself as the Red Oni named Jun. Misha in turn introduced himself with a soft smile, slowly loosing that on edge feeling he had before. As soon as Misha finished introducing himself, Jun pulled out several flowers and decorated Misha in them. What? "My tribe told me it's custom to decorate one we find pretty with flowers!" That toothy grin yet again. What? Misha's mother was hiding a smile as the two followed her to the dinning hall.
As time passed, Jun started to visit more and more often, either when the father is away, or to escort Misha through his adventures. He was becoming more and more protective of the small Skitty too. They would people watch together, or explore through the forests. Misha really came to appreciate the company that Jun offered. He always felt safe. It was on one of Jun's visits, with the Lord being away, some thieves thought it smart to try and break into the Mansion, only to come face to face with a very Overprotective Growlithe. Before the guards were able to get there, each and every one of the thieves were knocked out, a look that the guards would never forget across the Oni's face. One that could very easily kill had any of them made the wrong move, and little Misha was safely tucked away in his tail.
At one point, Misha offered Jun one of his shed crystals. From that point on, Jun was never seen without it, holding onto it like some prized treasure. Only shortly after was when the Father found out about Jun. He went off on Misha, yelling and screaming, using all sorts of slurs. How dare he bring a feral beast into their house. How dare he threaten the lives of the mansion. Misha just sat there, unable to say anything, slowly becoming more and more deflated. He didn't want to stop seeing Jun. That same night, Misha was called to his mother's reading room, still defeated. In the room, Jun was standing in the window with his signature toothy grin, nodding towards his mother. They had obviously talked about something. His mother embraced him and gave him a bag and a letter, telling him he should go. Jun would protect him. Misha hesitated for a moment, before running into Jun's arms, being scooped into the same princess hold of from their first meeting, and ever so gracefully, Jun jumped out of the window into the gardens below. He ran and ran, making sure to never stop until he knew they were a safe distance away.
Misha took this time to look through what his mother gave him. In the bag was enough money to support them for several days, and the letter mentioned going to Ethovalan, and hoping that the two of them would be happy. The skitty relayed the message, suggesting they head towards the ports. Several days later and they were in Ethovalan, they were to find the Guild and make some sort of team? They wandered around lost when they ran into a Meowth and Eevee who were talking about making a Bounty Hunter team. When Misha asked for directions, they both had an idea. The two, named Seika and Shiyun, were looking to make a joint team between them, but none of the members of their teams were ones they would want to lead a team. If they agreed, they would be willing to support and help start up the team. The two quickly agreed, and the Bounty Hunter Team, Shattered Embers, was made
