YES I WANTED TO TYPE THE TITLE ALL CAPS! BWAHAHA!AFTER DAYS AND DAYS OF WORK.... I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED MY ULTIMATE BAD ASS WEAPON FOR OTAFEST!! YATAAA!!! PRESENTING..
BLACK ROCK SHOOTER'S CANNON~ (tv animation version)
WOOOOOOOOH I'M SO HAPPY!! THIS IS THE FIRST WEAPON I'VE EVER MADE GAAAHHH! *why do all my firsts have to be tough??* I ALWAYS LOVE A CHALLENGE! MYAHAHA!
Soooooooooo first I would like to thank the people who helped me make this MASTERPIECE possible!
Giela and my DAD! YEAH THEY ARE AWESOME. THAT'S WHY I LOVE WORKING AT HOME I'VE MOSTLY GOT ALL THE TOOLS THAT I NEEDED BWAHAHA! *cough doing stuff at rez is just.. sad.. no power tools etc*
SO YEAH! The first base that we made was SO EFFING HEAVY so we had to change the over all tube!
THIS BEAUTY is made of the following:
1. Metal
2. wood
3. craft foam
4. black rail card
5. illustration board
6. Styrofoam
7. black, bronze and silver paint
8. more random stuff
TAKE NOTE.. I recycled some stuff (e.g. broke my old drum sticks in half to make the handle, and cut my old angry birds painting which I hate made out of illustration board to make some parts)
AND YEAHHHHHH.. LOTS AND LOTS OF PATIENCE. OF COURSE I HAD FUN WHILE DOING THIS. YAYAYAYA
now it's time to make my costume. weee :3

Thank you so much! Oh man this was the first weapon I made so it was a bit tricky, there were a lot of trial and errors since I needed to make sure that it's functionable, and not too heavy for me, since I have to carry this huge thing using one hand. XD

Thanks! Yeah i really wanted it to look rusty metal and realistic!! The diameter is no less thank 8 inches.. Height is around 4.5 ft? It's up to you to which height ur comfy wth

And the diameter's only 8 inches? Wow... I can't believed i actually guessed right for that... Hehe coz I'm making my own Rock Cannon for an art project so yeah but mine's like 5.5 ft... and my teacher got really surprised by that XD Thanks!

ahahahaha but i dunno how it'd turn out though; planning to put in a lot of time but with exams coming up and the amount of parts that needs to be sculpted and painted (over 20 parts), it's gonna be a bit of a struggle, especially with exams coming up :/

OH Btw I forgot to ask... what's your barrel constructed off? Mine's a massive PVC pipe (about 1 meter in length and 15cm in diameter since they couldn't find a 20 cm diameter one)

lol mine is just constructed using a black rail card wrapped around in one of those metal thingies that you see in vents? i have no idea what it's called but the part that looks like a funnel.. i can't wait to see what it'll turn out! link me back when ur done!

it's still not done yet D: i had to remake the handle frame since it brokeeee but i'm making it out of thicker acrylic this time so

ahahahaah XDD mine's made out of several acrylic pieces so it's kinda weak... i'm remaking it and reinforcing it with some thick acrylic and cardboard for shock dampeners again
