Critters and Ghoulies terrified me as a kid. Having a screwed up brain to start with doesn't help. Was terrified Critters were under my bed and Ghoulies were in my toilet waiting to attack me. Took me years to get over it. Jaws still has me terrified though, can't be in water larger than a jacuzzi alone without freaking out. Irrational, but, heh.

Series of movies called Critters, believe there's 4 of them. They're cheesy and funny as hell when you're not a kid.
Basic premise is that they're space monsters that get loose on Earth a number of times. The entire galaxy hates them because they eat everything and everyone on the planets they land on, so there's always bounty hunters tracking them.
