The Fae were known for being the most beautiful creatures in the immortal world aside from the gods, and were also apt to get men (or women) into their beds quite often due to their power of allure. The gifts of song and grace often disillusioned humans. However, once a Fae lures a mortal into their bed, they turn quite viscious. You definitely don't want to mess with them.

This is dedicated to . It was entirely influenced by her style of watercolour painting and I was dying to try it out. I made this over my spring break, but my mother decided to keep it at home so she could "show it off to the ladies at work". When she sent it back to me through the mail, it got horribly bent You can still kind of see the creases in the paper, even though I tried to flatten it out by heating up the paper with my blowdryer and then placing my binders over it for an hour.

Materials used: 300g Strathmore watercolour paper, ordinary watercolour paints, colourless masking fluid, iridescent medium, white acrylic paint, Speedball permanent drawing ink (though, I quickly discovered that it was not permanent AT ALL ), assortment of paintbrushes.

As in the previous painting that I used iridescent medium in, you can't see it because of the scan. I wish you could. if you have an LCD screen, you can see wisps of it in the top part of her skirt. BUT, for the record, it's everywhere--in the curtain, in her dress, in her wings......
