Wow, man! So how are you doing these portraits? Are you using a photo as a reference, or are you painting over them? They're so photorealistic, and I love photorealism, especially in human portraits.

I use photo reference to judge the proportions and the way light and shadows fall. Once I have a human likeness then I abandon the reference and start stylising. I'm glad you like it!

Thank you very much! Yeah I haven't had much time or inspiration today but listening to the song earlier, I got kinda swept away and next thing I knew I had this. This was probably the quickest I've ever painted something as well. I prefer to work this way so unless I get that primal inspiration again, it might be a while before I put something new up.
