It's another Viral fanart from me, this time in timeskip mode!You know how Gurren Lagann has really badass eyecatch screens? Well, the first time I saw them, I told myself that I'd love to do something like that one day and well, there you go. I even went as far as to make the picture the size of a screencap. ^_^; Of course, logo credit goes to GAINAX.
I was pretty happy to start this and I want to do another now...
crumpled paper from sketches + drawing time + mouse + Photoshop CS + coloring time + 'omg am i doin it rite' time = this.

XD As soon as I saw this I was playing the eyecatch music in my brain and humming "whoa whoa fight da powah!" under my breath! XDXD Lol. But seriously, I thought it looked very much like one of their eyecatches. And I love Viral. So this picture is win.

This is truly an awesome Picture! Viral is my favourite. I think you have caught the style of TTGL fairly well, especially with the Lens Flare and the Eye itself. Nice work ^^.

However, wasn't the trademark trait of the eyecatches in Gurren Lagann a sort of exaggeration especially in perspective?
This isn't bad, not at all, that's not what I'm saying. But it's kind of hard to see it in the style of the show's eyecatches.
