It does. My second day of using it though and I had forgotten how to use all the settings, so a bit slow on the uptake.

Herons are big and slow moving when they fish so I just waited for him to fly away and I was fairly close and the lighting at that moment really helped.

Seeing this means a lot to me, as the Blue Heron was my grandmother's favorite bird - and she did love birds. She passed away very recently.
Excellent shot. I find the full-sized photo somewhat small, but that's much better than it being ridiculously oversized. The overall blue of the picture is nice and relaxing. Good stuff!
