This one caught my attention immediately. Nice old school vibe. It nods respectfully to similar styles while maintaining it's own feel. There's lots of detail, and it all feels well placed. My eye keeps coming back to one thing that I could critique. The perspective on the doorway is slightly askew. Perhaps it's the ghoulish face/architecture element on the far side of the door that is just a bit high. Because the other elements maintain symmetry, I keep coming back to that point. All in all, this piece has a high level of polish and I very much enjoyed it!

To be honest i don't see much to critique, besides speaking about how good it is. you really filled up the page with an intriguing scene. the color and detail has me looking closely to see what cool designs i'll find. the ideas put to use (the dark fortress, the awesome warrior, grim world) weren't 100% original, but few things these days are and to put a good looking spin on them.
If i absolutely had to say there was something more to be done to this (wouldn't take this to heart) i would just add a few more tiny details to the part of the fortress that sticks up into the sky. (minuscule details)
In conclusion i feel you put together a very good piece that demonstrates many powerful aspects and skillful techniques. great job!!!

This is a complete picture. The character takes the focus being highly detailed, the background is obscured enough to not take away focus from the character, but still shows the detail of the buildings, and have some cool effects at the gate. The character and buildings seem to give off a necromantic or dark mechanical feel. This is just great all around, and the light strands from the doorway and the character's weapon are awesome.

Id write a critique, but honestly I see nothing wrong. This is an amazing piece, and all it's facets are delivered very well. Fantastic job, I'd love to see more.
