marine was born with blue blood, blue fire, blue scales. everything about him was blue, completely opposite of what volcanic dragons are supposed to be. of course, on the day of testing their abilities, everyone was shocked- and a bit disgusted- to see the markings on his cheek begin to glow as he let out the strongest blast of flame that he could.
but the queen, wanting to keep her reputation of having a perfect kingdom, decided to exile him. "you're not a true volcanic dragon. you belong in the ocean."
gaining scars and nightmares, he lived alone and in solitude until two dragons, opal and arachnid came across him. one, a runaway princess who'd rather adventure around the entire world than rule a kingdom, guilty from the fact that she's not a true ice dragon, and another, a stone-hearted dragon who didn't know her true identity.
the three decide to travel together, with their 'uniqueness', as the optimistic princess called it, and find out that working together is much better than struggling to survive alone.
