going for an egyptian, insect, sci-fi look.very first original concepts in bottom left corner, want to get more egyptian (others) and organic.
still concepts
figured i could post these, because i finally have some of this project moving. going for 2D animation with 3D background.

By the way that guy in the top right looks sweet. Very Egyptian, just give em an insect helmet and he's set!

They gotta Master Chief insect feel to them. I think to give em more of an Egyptian feel think more cloth-like lighter more pliable armor. Maybe show more skin. Or like one heavy piece of armor like a giant shoulder pads, or chest plate. And then like super light chain mail. Or maybe long capes or cloaks. Thats just the first things that come to my head. The head armor looks sick, very insect-like. Oh dude, watch that Stargate movie, the one with the giant portal and Egyptian alien guys!
