Do you mind if I use your deviations for story covers? I promise I will credit and watch and donate to you and they are only for an online site, so not like for a real book cover. They are so beautiful! ♥

Thank you! Oh, but it isn't for a particular story, but it most likely be up for rating or examples and things like that. They will be in my deviations anyway with credit. But if it is for a story, I'll send it to you. Thank you so much!!! You are an amazing artist!

This is truly beautiful.
But, speaking as one that suffered from lucid dreams I can assure you they are rarely peaceful or graceful. They are full on horrifying. And as they take place outside the REM state of normal dreaming they are also dangerous. Imagine the worst nightmare you have ever had. Now imagine it is realler than real. I have broken furniture, put my fist through a hardwood door, and broken my own bones IRL while suffering from lucid dreams. Others have killed people they love while still in the lucid dream state, and not known they've done it until they awoke. Fortunately I have not had a lucid dream for many years. I pray I never have another.
Sorry to be a downer, but that is how they really are.

My definition of "lucid dream" is different from yours. During a "lucid dream," you should be aware that you're only dream but decide to stay in the dreaming state. You should still have the ability to get out of the dream should anything go wrong.
From your definition, it's more like dream walking during a nightmare. However, thank you for sharing your experience. I hope you have more good dreams than bad ones.

Just WOW!
How do you use the brush for the hair??

kelch12 In reply to MandyMischievous4U [2013-01-15 04:34:42 +0000 UTC]
After some layers of pencil strokes, use a soft camel hair brush (1" to 2")to soften the tone and spread the graphite over the hair area.

There is a fundamental difference. Paper stump is harsh, and it will burnish (change/damage) the paper's texture. Therefore, once the paper is burnish, the additional layer of graphite won't adhere well and you can't go much darker. The brush is soft and gentle, you can brush all you want without damaging the paper. Paper stump might have its special use but I don't need it.

I think it was totally rude to use this on your page without asking and I do not even see a credit to this artist on it. Even after he mentioned a credit should be given there is not one there that I can see.

You can virtually save anything you see on the internet. If the image is not explicitly stated as stock image, then it's not. If you are not 100% sure, it's a good practice to always ask. I forgive your but you should have known better. No hard feeling.
